Why we began
The Start of Portfolio Projector
Our start was personal. Three core components drove us to bring Portfolio Projector to life: the hindrance of existing technology, real estate misconceptions, and shared investment beliefs.
The hindrance of existing technology
As investors ourselves, we had assets in real estate and traditional investments yet no easy way to see the two worlds combined. When running analysis from either side, we realized a lot of valuable insights were missing.
What we built
We took our dozen spreadsheets and countless tools and set out to build a solution that brought value to the everyday investor, the way that we wanted and needed.
Real estate misconceptions
We were sick of people saying that real estate is risky. Much like traditional investments, real estate isn’t a set it and forget it until retirement strategy. Looking at a deal isn’t the same as managing a property long term and leverage can be found on either side of the fence.
What we built
